Life coaches and LinkedIn influencers have been telling us for years that the key to our success is all about mindset, baby. If only we could get a hold of ourselves and keep our eyes on the grind we would stop being broke, ugly, and miserable in no time. The catch seems to be that this means we have to stop thinking and talking about the stuff we enjoy, but you know what? That's nothing compared to making it big.

The secrets of rich people never stop being intriguing to the non-rich when they want a piece of that pie. This seemed to be the logic behind one recent cringey TikTok in which a woman claimed to have found stark differences in what her rich friends and her poor friends talk about when they get together for dinner. It didn't take long for her to get roasted for her perspective. Not everybody wants every catchup to be a networking event.
